The Frimboline Plains

We rested for a few days in Frimbolve Olvi, but as big as the city is, very little happens there. Thus, we continued north.
We traveled across the plains for about two weeks. That was not because of their wide expanse - a well disciplined troop could get across them in less than two days. But our path was far from straight. Baldyr the Brummer led us on a very circumspect path through all the villages that served specialty delicacies that he had heard of.
We were not disappointed. Every village offered us room and board without any suspicion of us being evil-doers. Yes, the gullibility of the Frimboline Plains is such that I several times was lodged in the chamber together with the maids. This, however, brought me little joy, as my sleep was disturbed by plentiful giggling and sometimes searching hands.
When we finally stood at the foot of the Matagde Mountains, we were as stuffed as late summer pigs, and we had gained significant weight, starting to take on the shape of the local population.
